Book Writing Affiliate Program: Dictate Is Now Open (2026)

If your audience is full of experts, you already know the pattern: coaches with a method they teach every week, consultants with a framework clients keep asking about, business owners who have explained the same hard-won lessons a hundred times. Many of them want to write a book. Few of them have started. The Dictate affiliate program lets you recommend a low-cost, honest first step and earn a commission when someone buys through your link.

This guide explains what you would be promoting, how commissions work, which affiliate networks carry the offer, what marketing materials you get, and the rules that keep your audience's trust intact.

What is the Dictate affiliate program?

Dictate is an AI-powered book writing service for experts. Instead of staring at a blank page, authors talk: Silas, Dictate's AI interviewer, asks the questions and Dictate turns the answers into book material. The affiliate program lets creators, educators and community owners introduce that process to their audience through a single entry offer, the Book Blueprint.

The program is free to join. You don't need to be a Dictate customer, and buying anything is never a condition of joining, getting approved or earning commissions.

What your audience buys: the $27 Book Blueprint

The Book Blueprint is a plan for someone's book, delivered as a branded PDF by email after one guided interview with Silas. It includes:

  • A cover preview and the book's big idea
  • Three positioned title options
  • A chapter-by-chapter outline
  • Author positioning and a clear picture of the ideal reader
  • A map of three to seven books already in the category
  • A sample paragraph written in the author's voice

It is a plan, not a finished book. That matters for affiliates: you are recommending a clear, affordable first step, which is easy to describe truthfully and easy for your audience to say yes to. After checkout, buyers see two optional add-ons: an Interview Roadmap and a Book Launch Planner. On marketplaces that support it, a Competitive Gap Report is also offered as an optional add-on at checkout.

Commissions and payouts

Commissions are paid by the marketplace you promote through, not by Dictate. The marketplace tracks your clicks and sales, pays you on its schedule and handles refunds under its own terms.

  • JVZoo: the public listing shows 75% on the $27 Book Blueprint and 50% on the funnel's add-on products.
  • ClickBank and Digistore24: the same structure is proposed. Confirm the rate shown in your own account before you promote; the marketplace's numbers are the ones that apply.

Dictate never asks for your bank or tax details. Payout setup happens inside your marketplace account.

Which affiliate networks carry Dictate?

You can promote Dictate through any of three networks, or more than one:

  • JVZoo: request approval on the Dictate Book Blueprint offer page, then copy the affiliate link JVZoo issues you.
  • ClickBank: find Dictate in the Marketplace (vendor nickname dictate) and create your HopLink.
  • Digistore24: find the Book Blueprint in the Marketplace, request a partnership, and copy your Promolink once it's accepted.

The affiliate portal walks you through each platform step by step and keeps a separate status for each one, so you always know where your applications stand. As of September 2026 the marketplace listings are completing review; the portal shows the live status of each marketplace, and you can join and prepare your materials in the meantime.

How to join, step by step

  1. Sign up at startdictate.com/affiliates/join with your name and email. You sign in with a one-time email link, so there's no password to remember.
  2. Accept the affiliate agreement in the portal. You'll get a receipt with the version you accepted.
  3. Choose your marketplace: JVZoo, ClickBank, Digistore24 or several.
  4. Apply on the marketplace using the portal's instructions, then update your status in the portal.
  5. Save your affiliate link. The portal checks that the format is right and helps you add campaign tracking IDs.
  6. Pick your materials and promote, with your affiliate disclosure in place.

Marketing materials included

Every affiliate gets a ready-made library built around real sample pages from a fictional author's Blueprint:

  • Display banners in three concepts, each in 300×250, 728×90, 160×600 and 320×100
  • Six social image concepts in square, portrait and story sizes
  • Six short promo videos (vertical and widescreen) with caption files
  • A five-email promotion sequence plus three standalone email angles
  • Six Facebook ad concepts and ten organic social captions
  • Product graphics for the Blueprint and each add-on, and a logo kit

Swipe copy uses a placeholder for your link. The portal fills in your own saved link for you, and refuses to if a placeholder would be left behind.

Who the program suits

The Book Blueprint fits audiences where expertise is the product:

  • Business and life coaches, and people who train coaches
  • Consultants, agencies and B2B newsletter writers
  • Podcast hosts who interview experts
  • Communities and masterminds for business owners
  • Book coaches, publishing educators and author communities
  • Speakers and speaker bureaus

If your audience includes people who have said “one day I'll write a book,” the offer will make sense to them.

Promotion rules that protect your audience

The rules are simple and exist to keep recommendations honest:

  • Disclose the relationship clearly, near your link, in every medium. A footer or profile bio alone isn't enough.
  • Say only what's true. No income promises, no “bestseller guaranteed,” and no suggestion that the $27 Blueprint delivers a finished or published book.
  • No invented experiences or fake testimonials. Share your own genuine experience, or keep it neutral.
  • Traffic: email to your own opted-in list and paid social from your own accounts are allowed. Search ads are allowed, but never bid on Dictate's brand names. Coupon sites need written approval. Incentivized traffic, spam, purchased lists and cookie stuffing are prohibited.

The portal includes ready-to-use disclosure wording for email, social posts, paid ads, video and podcasts.
