About the Author
Prathima Batchu
I was born and raised in Columbia, Missouri. I’ve worked over 20 years in medical billing and insurance coding, along having my creative hobbies, on the side. I have been writing since I was in middle school. Later on, learned that I had a creative side in me with writing but never used. I later moved away from Missouri in 2020, to the east coast and then in 2022 to the west coast, where I wanted to live since I was about 10 years old. Then unfortunately, towards the end of 2025, I had to relocate back to the Midwest, due to my mother being ill. I continued to think about writing my story, because through all of my moves, I had been through more life events that make me who I am today. I would like to help, empower, and encourage others that no matter what they’re going through, they can always come out on the other side. Their past does not define them.
